The goal of the pilot action is the economic integration of refugees and asylum seekers into the host country through social entrepreneurship. The participants of the Slovenian pilot action, refugees and asylum seekers, learn the basics of (social) entrepreneurship, business plan, marketing and financing options. Based on a business model that includes elements of social entrepreneurship, participants develop a social game whose content comes from the participants’ home countries (Somalia, Bangladesh, Syria). By developing a board game, participants learn how to design a product that has market potential, and at the same time, through the game, locals learn about the culture of the countries from which the refugees and asylum seekers come. The pilot campaign consists of 15 workshops led by experienced business mentors and cultural mediators. 14 participants have taken part in the pilot campaign and 5 participants will complete it. The training lasted 7 months.
